Concert #3: Annual Holiday Concert
Make it your holiday tradition! Under the direction of Dr. Beverly Everett, the BSO presents its 7th annual Holiday Concert. A special treat this year is a focus on Mozart, along with selections from the Messiah and some well-known carols. Audience members are invited to sing along on Messiah choruses.
Featuring Mozart’s Oboe Concerto; soloists on Alleluia from Exsultate Jubilate by Mozart and Rejoice Greatly from Handel’s Messiah.

Concert #4: "History Meets Music: An Afternoon with J. Robert Oppenheimer"
Historical re-enactor Clay Jenkinson invites us into the mind and heart of American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer. Works by Beethoven, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Elgar, and Britten. Songs from “Dr. Strangelove.” Guest tenor Brad Bradshaw.

Concert #5: “American Kids”
Cellist Nicholas Hardie is featured in Robert Schumann's Cello Concerto in A Minor. Regional string students join the BSO on stage to perform Gustav Holst's "St. Paul's Suite." Also on the program is Johannes Brahm's "Academic Festival Overture."

Concert #6: "American History"
Roosevelt in Cowboy Land, a symphonic work by Chris Brubeck, is a three-movement piece for narrator and orchestra that tells the story of Teddy Roosevelt’s time in the badlands of North Dakota. Clay Jenkinson, who played an integral role in the conception of the piece, will narrate. Also featured on the program are composers and musical works heard in Roosevelt’s White House.
